Kiln-Dried Logs.
Kiln drying is a complex science. Once Kuhns Bros logs are dried to an average a moisture content of 19% or less, they are ready for milling to the final log profile.
More than 10,000 pounds of water are removed from the typical home, significantly reducing the weight of the logs. Properly dried logs provide higher insulation values, which reduces your energy costs and increases the comfort of your home, less shrinkage, and minimal twisting. Graded and Certified Logs ensure each log meets the Building System Council’s standards for grading. I offer Total Package Flexibility with three solid log packages -- add all three to create our "No Shop" package. Laminated or insulated log walls are also available.
